On November 22, Oleg Kalnachev, Director General of Chinese International Scientific and Technological Cooperation Department of the Belarusian National Academy of Sciences, and Li Ping, General Manager of Sino-Belarusian Aerospace High-Tech Industry R&D Center, and their delegation visited GDAS for cooperation and exchange. Li Dingqiang, Vice President of GDAS, attended the meeting.

Li Ping introduced the strategic positioning and management mechanism of Sino-Belarusian Industrial Park, gave an overview and industrial planning of Sino-Belarusian Aerospace High-Tech Industrial R&D Center, and showed the prospects of cooperation among the three parties of building the Joint Science and Technology Innovation Center. He said that the Joint Science and Technology Innovation Center would be established with promising prospects by combining the advantageous technologies of GDAS, the Belarusian National Academy of Sciences and the Sino-Belarusian Aerospace High-Tech Industry R&D Center to carry out scientific and technological innovation cooperation and the transformation and application of achievements.

Kalnachev said, Sino-Belarusian Industrial Park was known as a "pearl on the Silk Road Economic Belt", and the construction of the joint science and technology innovation center in the park would be of great significance. He looked forward to the visit of the delegation of GDAS to the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus in December, and hoped to further promote the exchange and cooperation between the two institutes.

Li Dingqiang said, the three parties should further strengthen work and connection, confirm the time schedule and working mechanism as soon as possible, and select the candidates and teams involved in cooperation, so as to build the joint science and technology innovation center into an international innovation platform to better serve the "Belt and Road" initiative and the construction of the international science and technology innovation center in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

At the meeting, the three parties conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions on the establishment of the joint science and technology innovation center in the Sino-Belarussian Industrial Park and reached a preliminary consensus on cooperation.
