In the afternoon of November 8, "the workshop and training meeting on application of industrial internet in Guangdong and the meeting for preparation of Guangdong Research Institute of Industrial Internet Application" was successfully convened at GDAS Foshan Industrial Technology Research Institute ("Foshan Research Institute"). Foshan Research Institute organized the meeting and invited leaders and experts from 21 organizations to exchange and share their experiences from the industrial internet sector and discuss on the preparations for the establishment of Guangdong Research Institute of Industrial Internet Application. Those 21 organizations included the Bureau of Industry and Information Technology of Foshan City, South China Robotics Innovation Research Institute, Guangdong University of Technology, China Unicom, Maidiyun.com and XCMG-Hanyun. Yin Hongjun, Vice President of Foshan Research Institute, attended the meeting and delivered a welcome speech.

The meeting consisted of two agendas, the workshop and training agenda and the agenda for discussion on the preparation of the Industrial Internet Application Research Institute. In the workshop and training agenda, 5 industrial internet experts from Maidiyun.com, XCMG-Hanyun, Sangfor, Huiyun Sichuang and Guangdong University of Technology delivered their keynote speeches around five topics, including "Industrial Internet, Logo First", "Industrial Internet, Activating Unlimited Potential" and “Practicing Industrial Internet, Enabling Intelligent Manufacturing in China”. They also shared their viewpoints and had interactions and exchanges around these topics.

In the discussion agenda of the preparation of the Industrial Internet Application Research Institute, the experts had an in-depth discussion on the organizational structure, operating mode and direction for development of the Institute, and reached a consensus on the idea for future work of the Institute.

 The successful convening of this meeting, on one hand, facilitated the deep integration of experts and think tanks with the development of industry in the industrial internet sector, hence promoting the positive interaction of industrial internet research, capital and market; and, on the other hand, laid a solid foundation for the landing of the Industrial Internet Application Research Institute, which would be of profound significance for accelerating the establishment of the Industrial Internet Application Research Institute.
